This project provides a source for young children and their parents to learn about what is happening to our planet and ways to help save it. This illustrated picture book is desiged for children ages 4-6. The goal is to promote conversations about our planet between children and their parents.

To be a source for young children and their parents to learn

it. This picture book is designed for children ages 4-6. The goal
is to promote conversations about our planet between children
and their parents now and in the future.
Context
A children’s illustrated picture book, targeted at children
ages 4-6. When a parent is still reading to their child and
a conversation about the topic can occur.
Problem Statement
Children need to be taught about the importance of preserving
nature so they can take that knowledge into their adulthood and
help with the fight against climate change. We only have one
planet and we need to start taking care of it.
Project Significance
As a climber, preserving nature is very important to me and
the community. This is important because the future of this
planet relys on the next generation.
Content
It will use content that I make and I will be the one writing the
book. I will be using information found from sources, from people
I’ve interviewed, and information gathered from my survey.
I will interpret this information choose what would be benefitial
to teach young children.
